Well I lost one of my girls yesturday poor old ginger think she may have had a stroke... as the could not use her left wing or leg, had circulation but no feeling. Vets tried to boost with steriods but in the end it was no life for her....

Very sad as she was my chicken....

so put an app into Rehome chickens for 3 new girls last night and now looking for 4 POL's in the evesham area..... It hit the level were we went from 14 down to 7 so time to add more since I cannot keep up with demand let alone have eggs for myself!!

Aww that is so sad - No matter how many times people laugh them off or refer to them as simply chickens, they really are family pets.

Hope you get lucky with your application to re-home some more chooks

So sorry to hear of your loss.  I know some people find it hard to believe how upset a chicken owner can be at the loss of a loved chook.  But we all understand.

Only 7 left   I know what you mean, I'm having a panic attack with only 6 remaining.  The pen looks so empty?
