Neighbour has got us to cover the toms with weeds that have been dug up to give the plants shade.  Just a tad too warm for my liking!!

the rain has not stopped here, but has certainly calmed down....none today, yet.  But it is really sunshine and cloud....a mere 23 degrees today.  Due to get up to 33 over the weekend.  My neighbour informs me that our summer will begin on the 15th July.  I am getting really cheesed off with grey sky.
My tomatoes have just been dug up and put in a pile ready to be burnt  :cry: , all succumbed to blight.  Will try to buy some plants at the market this week.
