Title: Cabbage Plants, wont Grow. Please help
Post by: Ropster on May 07, 2008, 09:27
Im having a bit of troubble with my Cabbages
Ths first lot I planted, in toilet tupes in the mini greenhouse, all germinated, got to about 2cm high and then died on mass
the second lot, in the house in an unheated propigator ony 3 out of about 20 germinated and are looking a bit rubbish

What is the best way to germinate ? I still have a few seeds left so am going to have one go before I give up on Brassicas for the year

I suspect the old problem of being too warm.

Cabbages grow outside & stand a lot of cold temperatures. At the most sow in a cold frame, given the current weather they will germinate fine outside.
