Getting grown plug plants out of modules.
Goosegirl:
I'm about to plant out my antirrhinums and lobelia plants that I put into modules. When I have done this and upended one side I find that some of the others either fall out or get a bit squashed by the tray. Today I am going to try out using a shoe horn as it is smaller in size that a bulb trowel and they should come out much easier. Whaddya you think?
whaleroad:
I use a weed membrane peg. Use it like tongs. Saw someone doing it on instagram and it changed my life.
mrs bouquet:
I push gently with a pencil and squeeze them a bit, then hope for the best. :D Mrs Bouquet
Goosegirl:
MB, that's what I used to do but the module tray is so flimsy that if I get my hand underneath and squeeze the whole lot might fall out!

I've had some success with kebab skewers from underneath. Make sure the soil is moist, it helps unglue them
