Just got the news from the breeder that we're getting a puppy from next year that the mother's just come into season and the puppy will be ready in late March/Early April!!!! I've never had a puppy before, so I'm very very excited!!! Just want next year to come quickly now!!!
-
Very exciting! Not sure I'd have the patience to wait that long, I'd be climbing the walls!
-
I'm already tired of waiting, and I only found out about the date today!!! I've seen most of my friends get puppies or kittens this year, whilst I've got chickens, and you can't exactly snuggle up on the sofa with one of them, no matter how cute they are!!!

What breed of dog is it?
-
Just what I was wondering- what breed? :D

...and me.
Gotta be special,- or should i say a bit unusual as all little pup's are special- to make such a long wait worth while
I know its off topic, but talking of unusual breeds, i always check out the puppies for sale in the local paper and about a year ago i saw pups for sale from a breed i'd never heard off. They were called Sporting Lucas Terriers and they were beautiful. Do a google a have a look

Saw an ad the other day for Mexican Hairless puppies, Never knew they existed.
Not to be confused with the Chinese crested (hairless breed) of dog that is well known.
Kept seeing Daxie's today, grew up with them. ::)

It's a Manchester Terrier. Should of mentioned it in my first post ! We've got a rat issue, and MT are ratters, and they're short furred, which won't set off brothers asthma :)
-
Terrier, good choice. ;) Strong will, brave heart, total devotion, beautiful little dogs. :)

That's what drew us to them :) How brave and sweet they were!! (The extreme cuteness may of helped!!)

If he is a good ratter can we borrow him please?

Be careful and don't let the pup off the lead near your chickens, all of mine are now ok with the chickens free ranging but they wasn't at first. The youngest (being a terrier) used to follow her instinct to chase and did kill 4 of my hens :(.

Personally I would love one of these:-
I want one of these!! (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1366517/Red-Tibetan-Mastiff-Most-expensive-dog-sold-nearly-1m.html)

Oh yes
I've had a Tibetan terrier  Lovely little dogs, very loyal to their family but mine would have the hand off any stranger who came near given half a chance.
No burglar would have broken into our house for a second time, and butter wouldn't melt to look at her :D

Joyfull, you could use him as a very expensive floor mop!
