Is this something to be worried about?
I've had them for nearly 2 weeks now. All 3 seem fine.

Hello, Can I ask what a ceacal poop is ???? I not heard of that before, mine all do about 1 a day at moment (they havent started laying yet) :?

Do they ever sneak in and steal the cat's food? Mine do poops like that when they do. It may be too much salt or protein in the diet??

Aunt Sally says :-
Passing caecal poos ie. faeces which has spent time in the caecum is quite normal and quit natural. All hens pass a caecal poo about every 10th motion. So don't worry
Hope that helps, all I know is they do them an they stink, but nowt to worry about :D
Sarah :)

I was worried for a moment chickenlady! I thought you meant they only did one poop a day - mine do lots and lots at least 30 each a day I would say.

Your picture is not displaying at the moment orfy, but if it's a caecal poo then I'd be worried if they didn't do them !!!!
