Title: Returning Member.
Post by: stompy on January 16, 2017, 09:39
Hi all,

After a few years lay off due to family commitments i am hopefully returning back to allotment life.
I visited my local allotment (500yds away) to see if they had any allotments free, as luck would have it there were a couple of chaps giving theirs up and they are willing to do a name change  :D

I talked to the site secretary and after a chat he said he would contact one of the plot holders and ask them to do a name change, im hopeing to hear from him at some point this week and be able to go and have a good look at the plot if/when it becomes mine.
By the end of this week i could once again have my own plot.  :D

Thanks for the welcome back guys.

Since posting i have received 2 phone calls, one from the site secretary and one from the council, both telling me i am now the owner of an allotment again.
I have to wait for the paperwork to be processed ::) and the plot is mine.  :D   :D   :D

Now the hard part begins, deciding what not to grow.

Welcome back and congrats on the new lotty.

Best to double check that the council and the site secretary have the same plot in mind, or you may end up the proud owner of not 1 but 2 plots!!
