does anyone know how to make American thick pancakes with out it tasting of bicarb  :lol:

These are the best pancakes i've tasted, got the recipe from my American niece.

2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 tsps baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 cup oil

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and wet ingredients in a another, then mix wet into dry.

Serve with butter and maple syrup yummmmm

thanks they were delicious every one loved them they taste better with butter and maple scyrup than just maple syrup on its own  :)
