All my okra plants have died and leaves fallen off inside the polytunnel.

Is it too late to sow some more?

And has anyone had much luck in our climes?

I have been singularly unsuccessful with okra I'm sorry to say.

It may well be too late to sow more as they do need a decent long warm growing season. Shame

I got excited when I saw how easily they appeared to grow them on "The Big Allotment Challenge"

I found some seeds the other day and chucked them into a pot and into a heated propagator.  They all germinated win a few days!  I intend to plant them outside but under a plastic cloche to give them the hea that they need.  I have only ever had one plant grow before and produce one pod, hence the reason I forgot about the seeds.  You never know, it may work out this time. I'd have another go, if I were you.  The packet did say sow outdoors in May, so I think there's still time.

Wonderful, I'm going to try anyway.

It needs temps to not drop below 18 degrees, sow not suited to our climate, so June is perfect. And they crop in 60 days.....

I will indeed, but I am doing in a polytunnel, so it's kinda cheating. I'll do a couple outside though, just to see.
