I bought a 100 ltr Water butt the same as they are selling and I find it very good although I have a small drip where the tap screws in, bit of ptfe tape will sort it though.

Well I've just come back with a little pack of Sage (3 x purple & 3 x green) and Thyme (3 x lemon & 3 x green), they come in the usual little plug packs of 6 with the water gel in the bottom.

If anyone is interested the other herbs were:
Rosemary (3 x bush and 3 x tailing)
Mine (3 x peppermint and 3 x spearmint)
Oregano (3 x Hot and Tasty and 3 x green?)
[This is from memory so please don't hold me to it!]

In my inexperienced opinion the quality of the little plugs was also good.

The 220L Dalek compost bins were also now reduced to £14.99 and they seemed to have a fresh delivery of compost, chicken pellets and growmore etc.

I also got a packed of shortbread, quality to be determined after a taste test this afternoon

Much happiness... went at lunchtime and bought some trellis, basket liners and mint plugs. Oh, and a couple of retro buckets that I can put plants in - very cheap!

There was nothing in my local store.

If that's the case and they can't organise stocks properly, I'm glad I didn't make the 180 mile round trip to my local branch today and haven't planned to tomorrow. :)

I saw a couple of the retro buckets and likes them for the same reason, but couldn't see the price so didn't risk picking them up!

Went down last night and got two expanding willow trellis sections for our sweetpeas, a pack of hanging basket plants, some jute twine, some topiary clippers for Mr Sunny and some labels.

Well pleased  :D

I went on Thurs & resisted the plants but found 2 packs of labels & 2 plastic lawn edging rolls in my trolley when I got to the checkout  Handy really as I needed something around the raspberry bed to stop the soil spilling on to the path I put down.

The water-gel modules the plugs come in are ideal for starting off lettuce (just a tiny pinch to each module). Just refill with seed compost and keep damp until the roots find the water gel.  :)
