Bedding

None of my hens perch at night and I have given up worrying about it. My question is that I am going to order some easibedding or hemcore online....... but is it enough to keep the hens warm in this weather ?. I have used straw up to now, but it is messy, hard to get rid of and not ideal for hens I know. Thanks for any advice  ;)

They will be fine with just hemcore etc.  They are very hot birds!

Thank you. I do worry to much about them I am sure. Still with their porridge etc I am sure it will keep them insulated.

mine are on hemcore only, it really is much easier to keep clean and they seem perfectly warm in the snow and minus 2 degrees!
3 dogs, 8 chickens, 4 rabbits 2 guinea pigs, 10 quail, 2 fish and a demanding daughter who has gone to uni and left me with 29 animals to care for!!=)
