Hi all one of the chicks that hatched this mornning seems to have a funny leg it wont stand properly and his wing seems to hang down  :( it was one of the batch that got a bit hot and took longer to hatch other 2 are fine  ::) does anybody know if it will stay like that or will it correct it self  :wacko:

It sounds like spraddle (splay) leg.  take a look here

I have noticed that the leg looks deformed and it has fur all the way down to the bottom of its foot  :( non of the others have it, could it be because of the temperature during incubation ?

the fur down the leg could be feathers what breed are the chicks supposed to be? There are several feather legged breeds  :)

50% is on a good day, Casey had a bad day and got 100% boys  :lol:
