The other weather forecasting service that is well worth looking at is Weather Underground. They have a network of local weather stations that give live information as well as 10 day forecasts.

I did use Wunderground every day, for local temperature record keeping, as the nearest station is only around the corner - but since their very recent site upgrade it just doesn't seem to work on my laptop. I'm very disappointed about that tbh
It was 9C overnight in the greenhouse, now there's high cloud and it feels warm with not much breeze.

In unsettled conditions it can be helpful in the short term to know how long you've got before rain arrives - there are several different websites available but I find this one easy to use (click the 'Anim On' button to see the track of the rain in almost real time.):

Dry at the moment, although the rain radar currently shows quite a lot of rain to the north and south of here...

TBH, this afternoon I went for a sit-down and looked to see how my plants are doing in my g-house. I couldn't believe how cold it was in there so I put the plastic cover over my mini g-h, zipped it up then came back inside for a warm.

Not a bad evening here - had a splatter of rain but enough yesterday to do the job after a dry spell.
Summer is on its way... just waiting for over-night temperatures to lift.

Cool and wet most of the day. Polytunnel was a pleasant 18c though so I got on with sowing my borlotti and soy beans in pots.

9C overnight in the greenhouse, so tomatoes all ok, peppers back out now to join them
We have high cloud, 13C and a cool breeze - heating still turning on indoors

I don't believe it! Got the grass edges strimmed and went off to get petrol as the mower was empty. Beautiful sunshine and blue skies. Came back from the garage, got the mower running and the skies went black - it's pouring down now.
Nothing in the BBC or Met Office predicted
Polytunnel when it eases off, for me.

Last night I put the plastic cover over my mini g-house and shut the doors because it was so cold. Today it started out the same temps, then this afternoon I had to remove the cover, do quite a lot of watering then leave the doors open because it got rather hot in there.

Down to 5C last night in the greenhouse, despite the forecast for 8-9C
still the toms were ok and I had brought the peppers back inside.
12C outside now with grey skies, we're in for another soaking by the look of things....at least that'll help with the greenfly overload

Not very warm here. At 10pm last night, our breath was white, and the skies very clear. So I lugged all the pots in and have just taken them out again. Oh, its just starting to rain ! Mrs Bouqet

We've got blue skies and sun but a slightly cool breeze is helping to keep the temps down in my g-house.
