Hi everyone, new to the poultry pages but after some advice please?
I have got a chicken who developed what i think is bumblefoot, i say think as we had another chicken with same syptoms few weeks back and was treated for bumblefoot and healed completely. My chooks foot is slightly swollen and with the classic look of bumblefoot, took her to vet who seems to think it is more of a wart like growth  :unsure:She gave us weeks worth of antibiotics but chook no better, still has lump on base and still limping and holding leg up whenever she can. Does anyone have any ideas on home remedies as unfortunatly i live in middle of no where and vet is not really trained in poultry, she tried to remove 'plug' but got nothing just blood! Help?? .
