Poor Katy has bumblefoot.
I noticed her limping and found a slight swelling and a hard black scab under her foot. She's now on Baytril for 3 weeks, and having the foot soaked and massaged in warm water and hibiscrub every day.
Vet is reluctant to lance. She says it's not that bad, and hoping ABs will do the trick, and will avoid us having the problem of managing an open wound.
Anyone experienced it?
