Dorothy has been broody for 2 1/2 weeks. she worries me. we have nowhere to put a broody cage & have been using the tough love (kicking her out the nesting box) Her comb has shrunk alittle , sheis eating & drinking a small amount & her poo looks normal+ although small  :(
Keep calm & talk to chickens :)

the normal sitting for a broody hen on eggs is around 21 days so just continue chucking her out a couple of times a day then after 3 weeks she will come out of it  :)

I'd let her get on with it, just sling her out whenever you go and see her

If she is healthy, eating and you dont need the nest box, leave her, I think she will get the message some time

I got one that sits on anyone's eggs, when I take them, she leaves the box
It's all about the journey, not the destination

That is what I do with mine - they seem to be taking turns to be broody as present.

Dorothy is still broody. 3.5 weeks. Hope she snaps out of it soon. We're going away soon& can't expect the neighbour to keep chucking her out :-(
