Asters
« on: July 05, 2023, 13:27 »
For years I have been growing Asters over the allotment to use as cut flowers. Last year was a complete disaster due the the heat. This year they have grown to about a foot tall and most of them are turning yellow and dyeing . They were watered during the dry spell and there is no sign of any pest damage. I have not fed them but never did previously as my soil is pretty good. Any ideas what's wrong?

They look a bit sun-scorched to me but not completely sure.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
