Pasta with hm tomato sauce and some cooked down courgettes added into it, both out of the freezer.  It was a welcome blast of summer flavours in the depths of grey grim January.

More plot goodies to follow with pink currant and tayberry crumble and ice-cream  :D

Paul has been 'playing' in the kitchen today and has made a lamb tajine.  The meat was tender (it had been cooked for two hours) and the 'hotpot' type potato topping was nicely spiced.   I would have like some veg with it, but hey ho, he's back to work tomorrow.

Chinese feast  :D

I have some salt and chilli ribs (bought), plus prawns to stir fry with tender stem broccoli and spring onions.  I’ll add some noodles into the stir-fry  :)

Scallops, prawns and a small  piece of salmon baked in a cheese sauce with a bread crumb and parmesan topping.  I've made individual ones before as starters but as we found the scallops yesterday while hunting in the freezer for something else we decided to make a larger one for us both.

Jacket potato and chilli.  The chilli was found at the bottom of the freezer so is obviously leftovers from a previous meal.
