Title: runny poo
Post by: jackie on January 30, 2010, 18:57
ive' seven hens and all their poo looks normal except one. Its runny and brown and stinks! we've wormed all of them (in with their food). They all eat the same. Pellets. I give them treats of pasta and cooked veg peelings every other day in the afternoon. Is there anything I can do or has she just got loose bowels

Mine pass normal poo most of the day then every now and then a dollop of brown runny poo, so it might just be normal. Chicken poo does stink, sometimes it's overpowering!

Oh boy am still feeling nauseous after looking at those photos.  Not sure if my chook is doing the 'caecum' pooh or the other abnormal frothy looking pooh.  Will observe today.
