[Thingy]

Hi again,

I recently aquired a silkie cockerel with really bad scaly leg, so I treated the scaly leg and the buildup is coming off. As the buildup dropped off, they revealed spurs that grow upward, However my other Silkie cockerel has proper spurs.

He still behaves normally!! I only realised that they were deformed when he tried to spur my legs and I wasn't hurt...unlike with the other cockerel ^^

So, what can I do, can I clip them? Are Spurs like nails where they have a quick, or are they something else entirely? How did they get like that in the first place? O.o

In the picture his feet look horrible, but they are being treated I assure you , They look alot better than they did

you can trim them - but be careful as they can bleed.
