My lottie neighbour asked if I wanted the small tree that appeared next to her victoria plum tree I thought great a plum tree!
I dug it up and found it was attached by a root under her path to the main tree. I planted it on my plot anyway, but what will I get? The root stock might even be a blackthorn? I've always got gin ready for sloes!
Any thoughts?

If you don't like it then graft on her plum onto her rootstock

If it was a sucker from the main tree, then it will be whatever the rootstock of said main tree is.
