Hairy legs
« on: September 20, 2011, 12:04 »
A few weeks ago I bought some chicks from a wildfowl park. The sign above them said welsummers and I asked the assistant if they were definately welsummers, "oh yes" he said, "one is 3 weeks old and the other 2 are a week old". When I got them home I googled chicks as I still wasn't convinced. 2 of them appeared to be RIR's but now they've grown a bit one of them has very hairy legs. So unless I get her some immac or a razor for Christmas I'm pretty sure she's not a RIR and I haven't got a clue what she is????

Certainly not a RIR but a cross of some sort.
Staffies are softer than you think.

sadly I think most of us have been had at one time or another  :(, could you not return her to the seller or are you now attached to her?

My daughter and grandchildren wouldn't let me, even though 2 out of the 3 won't lay the chocolate eggs they're looking forward to, I think I'm going to have to sneak some creme eggs in the box or they're going to be very disappointed
