Baby Hispi
« on: August 10, 2013, 18:27 »
Highly chuffed! just picked my first second growth Hispi, its only small fits in my hand. I had read that if roots are left in the ground they could produce small heads at the side just like Calabrese. As this years experiment I left nine roots in the ground, uncovered just left there; now here's a funny thing no Pigeon attack and no butterfly eggs. Approximately three new shoots per plant are just begining to heart up, keeps on like this it could be a vintage year. :D

It's great when something works even better than expected isn't it?  :D
