Thank you for recommendations over the loss of feathers have had another good luck and still cannot see any lice eggs or anything else.  If I resort to the Frontline 'just in case' how much do you put on the chicken and does it go on the neck like a cat?  Can't believe they havent stopped laying yet out of my 9 chickens I am getting between 6 and 8 eggs every day if only they would rest perhaps their feathers would grow back

Think it is 1-2 drops kitten strength for bantams and 2-3 for normal and large fowl.  Part the feathers behind the head at neck level and apply.

Thanks for your guidance really glad someone is out there to help me being a very new novice at the game - but theyre not just chickens they are my girls and I want to do the best for them.
