lovely eggs dear ! It's the little things that amuse us poultry folk. We have 12 ex batts, ( 4 ex barners and 8 ex caged) and Clarissa, or Clary, as we call her - well, she's a big girl, and hogs the food bowl, perching on the edge with both feet - she lays the largest eggs in the known universe - so large they don't fit the egg boxes, as you can't fasten the lid down with one of her eggs in it. We don't know how she does it, makes your bottom wince at the thought! Constantly amused by our chucks.
