While I accept that I am perhaps not exactly the demographic these ads are aimed at, I have found myself approving of the music accompanying a few, most notably the Chanel no5 lunar dance one from last year with music Team sung by Marion Cotillard and this years one for Coco Mademoisell to Amanda Lear's Follow Me. The Daisy ones make me shake my head as I feel the more complex the packaging the more iffy the contents and in any case these appear to be aimed at fifteen year olds. And as for the Gaultier ones featuring the 'friends of Dorothy' take on sailor outfits.... Dunno what the smellies are like but for some reason just a few moments of the ad makes me hostile to the brand!
Mrs HGB wears perfume every day like you Mrs B. I generally apply Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue for her during the week and no.5 at the weekends as these seem to match her skin chemistry (some others smell ok in the bottle but don't work on the skin. Most odd).
Strangely, as it happens Mrs HGB and I do actually resemble the 'beautiful people' in the ads. Probably.
