Vain Magpies

In my garden I have a "trompe l'oeil , it is a full size brick arch in the wall, with a mirror in it.
Today there are 7 magpies alternating between the birdbath and then a look at themselves in the mirror.
One is a baby and not quite certain, whilst another has fallen in love with himself. Whoops, one is so excited he/she has just toppled off the wall.
Must go now and fill up birdbath - again.

How lovely! If I had a courtyard garden I'd have one but there is nowhere here to have one or that would justify the cost. I do have various birds (especially blackbirds) having a good wash in my waterfall feature.
