Cheers

I got mine from
https://4wire.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=197
Note that Rabbit fencing is a smaller mesh than standard Chicken wire - little blighter get through a smaller hole I suppose :(

Thanks Kristen. :)

If you don't need much a great selection can be found at your local wilko's.
 I just checked that link and all i can say is forget that! There are 1m x 10m rolls for £9.99 at wilkinsons (same stuff for £30 at b'n'q). Go there and buy 5 and you're golden for the same amount as 50m there. I assume you won't need 50m?

"all i can say is forget that!"
Why?
Willkinsons is £1.00 a metre you tell me, the link I provided is £1.13 a metre
Are Wilkinsons selling Rabbit wire, or Chicken wire? Rabbits can get through the "holes" in Chicken wire.
"I assume you won't need 50m?"
By my calculation a standard 10 rod allotment needs 64M to go round the outside.

No they can't, As long as the hole is smaller than 31mm
Some people call it chicken wire, some rabbit wire and some just call it wire netting. Those that call it rabbit wire tend to charge more but at the end of the day its the same stuff.
I would shop around that is a little expensive.
Wilkinsons sell wire that is 25mm, smaller than you are getting. I brought a 50m roll from ebay for around £40.

I agree, "Rabbit netting" needs 31mm or smaller and the word Chicken wire is very generic. Chickens don't need 31mm wire!
Wilkinsons is a 25 mile round trip for me, so not a great choice.
But I'm sure there are cheaper suppliers out there ... particularly an end-of-batch off eBay.

Just looked around ebay and they have loads of wire.
the common seem to be 25mm which is fine.
The 900mm is wide enough to be burried and high enough to keep out rabbits.
You can even get pvc coated

We have wire that we have installed, but also a lot that was professionally installed (we had the main part of the garden encircled when we moved in).
I don't know if it is important, but all of that is 1000mm wide - might be intended to deter some other critters too.

Wilkinsons have the PVC coated wire which is a lot better than the eye as well as the 25mm plain metal. Also i noted he didn't ask to wire an allotment, so a 50m batch would be excessive. £1.13 doesn't include p&p if i remember rightly.
When you say 1000mm wide... do you mean tall? 1000mm is 1m.

"When you say 1000mm wide... do you mean tall"
I meant the roll is 1000mm / 1M wide, 50M long. As you say, once installed, the fence will be 1M high.
(Actually I think it may be 1050mm, but I don't suppose the extra couple of inches is critical)
