I planted Salsify & Scorzonera seed this year having never tried it before but can anyone describe the new shoots or a picture as the whole area is covered in weeds and I'm not sure what Salsify & Scorzonera looks like as all the pictures, I've found, show the root only.

Salsify looks like slightly brownish blades of grass.

Scorzonera I think it similar, but I can't remember clearly.  The best of luck with your weeding!

Salsify leaves kinda like grass; Scorzonera leaves kinda like dandelion.  I'll take some pictures of more mature specimens later, these are the tiddlers.
