Boiled Potatoes turning to mush

Dug up some potatoes yesterday for tea boiled them and about half split and turned to mush in the pan.  Anybody else have any probs boling theirs.

Still tasted good though

This is a common problem with new spuds.  I think it's cooking for too long.  Also try steaming rather than boiling, it's more gentle.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

This has been raised recently.

Try steaming them, or leaving a couple of days before cooking.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
