Last year I bought a bare rooted magnolia from them for just 1p + postage (which was around £5), a very good deal if you consider how much they normally are. It's just starting to show green shoots now, and I'm very happy with it so far, so I'm happy to recommend them to anyone.

JUST GOT SOME! :)

Let us know how you get on :)

ok, as pomised i am letting you know how I got on.
Firsty, the free fucsias are tiny plugs, not the larger plugs like i imagined them to be, and DEFINATELY not worth £39.00, I think they are only worth the postage paid, they came in a very flat box type thing around 1" thick and around 8" x 8" wide, i wouldnt have known plants were in them unless it said fucias on the front.
To say they are worth £39 is completely misleading, the plants themselves are around 2" long at most, and that includes the roots. You can see that they are simply cuttings that have taken root in about 1" of soild. the postage paid was £2.68, so no, i dont think they were "really" free. and i wouldnt go for them again.

That's a shame :( I felt like I got a very reasonable deal with my magnolia, so a little surprised to hear you did not. Still, thanks for letting us know how you got on.

T&M in disguise.

don't get me wrong, im not ungrateful,i just think that they hyped it up too much, I just didn't think 9 plug plants were worth £39 ithink they advertised the offer wrongly. I am happy, just glad I didn't pay for them lol.

Well after debating for a whole week I decided to take the risk and to order the lavender! Will let you know how I get on... I have images of a lavender hedge in my garden (could take some time )

Sounds like they were using the £39 as the value when fully grown. Bit naughty that. I didn't look that closely but had an email deal come through from T & M last week offering sweet pea plugs at 1p each. 10 plants for 10p. Normal price £16:99 ! Haha yea right!

I went on the T&M website just after VM, and thought I had deja-vu, everything was identical. And I was not too impressed with my free miniature buddleja "worth" 10.99 or however much it was, which was a twig in a 3" pot. Gave it to the XH.

My lavendar arrived yesterday. They do look like very small plugs, but all are alive and look like they have plenty of greenery! Not very experienced with lavendar and how it is supposed to look but I'm happy considering what I paid.
I will take some photos when I pot them up this evening.
