Yeah, I have never quite worked out how you are supposed to measure about a cup of butter or marg accurately, as there will be gaps, and then it is really fidly and messy trying to get all the stuff out again.  Give me a set of scales any day!

I agree. Scales anytime! My American MIL makes some wonderful recipes and whenever I ask for one, I get measurements in cups or oz - confuses me no end, but I just do it my way, and most of the time it works :wink: .
