       Yes we have daffodils. It is the emblem of the NZ Cancer Society and we had their collection day just the other week. Yes we have a lot of volcanos and we do get the occasional earthquake but we haven't had a good one where I live for about 30 years.
   One of NZs nicknames is The Shakey Isles.

Don't know about Thames but you wouldn't have wanted pics of the weather we had here (Auckland) yesterday. It persiddled down for most of the day. Mind you, it was perfect timing for the surprise delivery of our new rain barrel which was supposed to come today. The rain barrel arrived mid afternoon and was full by teatime
