Dried strawberries
WOW just WOW.
What an intense flavour, you got to try it.

Some of my strawbs haven't been as sweet this year, the debate could go on forever as to why, so decided to try drying them in oven.  They don't look that great as you can imagine but the flavour is really intense, I know I said it twice LOL.

Anyhoo made a few mistakes, slice them thin, don't do that maybe cut in half or quarter of inch slices.  I put them on foil on a baking tray and spent 30 mins trying to peel them off, so don't do that either.  Maybe use a silacon baking sheet like you get from Lakeland or parchment maybe but don't know how easy that is to get these days.

I did them in a 50c oven for 6 hours.  Put some nana slices in as well but not as impessive and wetter than strawbs.

Can anyone enlighten me to what to put them on in the oven.
Has anyone purchased a dehydrator, not an expensive one, they can recommend.

You can get nonstick baking parchment, it's what I use in most of my tins and in my old  roasting pans  :)
