second crop spuds

would i be ok to put my second crop spuds in the same spot as my first earlies as space is limited. i realise its not ideal but would they be ok.

Iv'e planted mine today in tubs. Less chance of blight and I can move them indoors if wheather gets really cold/wet.
It's not a good idea to plant pots in the same ground. There is more chance of disease being passed on that way.

What variety of potatoes would you recommend that can be planted now?

I'm not sure of varieties but if you look on Thompson's site they have some. I planted Pixie.

Sorry, I'm not that computer savvy.
If you look in any decent veg growing book it should tell you about them.
Or even search the net for potato diseases.
