Bumper crop of strawberries

This year is a fantastic year for my strawberries - 21 lbs picked so far and more on the way. \made lotsof jam eaten loads with ice cream and just made strawberry cordial any other ideas?

Just looked strawberry yonnas up as I had never heard of them - unfortunately I am unable to eat bananas.

We made a new strawberry bed at home and replanted the old plants, all they have done so far is put out new runners and a few flowers.  No berries to date. Paul is not amused as he loves strawberries.  The raspberries on the other hand that I prefer! ::)

It's been a bumper year here too (helped by the birds not getting them to them this year!) . Last year for the strawberry bed-I hope my new one is as prolific next year.  :)

Really good on the plot and at home in clay this year; and I treated them really badly- dug up and overwintered the new runners in one area, then dug them up and transplanted in Spring.  Didn't water  :nowink:  :ohmy:  :D
