i have some Primo cabbages for this year but have never grown them before any ideas when, how where i should be planting them i have a few raised beds in the garden

you could sow the seeds  now in trays, modules or small pots in your polytunnel and transplant them outside when they're big enough.

Grew Primo last year and got some great cabbages. sowed them in modules and planted out when they had a couple of sets of true leaves.They get a bit leggy in modules so I planted them slightly deeper than they were in the modules and firmed them in well. Don't dig the soil in the raised bed before planting.

I agree with Boldondog.......really firm them in well when planting, the firmer they are planted the better the cabbage!

excellent ive put some of the seeds into modules in my tunnel today so will see how they get on..when transplanting them into raised bed what sort of spacing shoudl i be using.

I reckon about 18 inches.
