Title: karcher problems
Post by: shaun on July 02, 2007, 21:16
ive got a karcher 4.99 and whats happening is

got the water on no kinks and full pressure
the karcher is turned on and it kicks in every couple of seconds with out pressing the trigger on the lance.
once you press the trigger it works fine
thought it might be an air lock so checked that

anyone got an inkling what it could be ?

sounds like the pressure relief system. i assume yours only turns on the motor when you press the trigger normally. my washer has done that from new ever now and again.

sell the iffy karcher on ebay and invest in a brand new scrubbing brush - it'll give you years of trouble free use and will help you to maintain your already superlative physique as you age...
