We've been very hot here again but a strong breeze picked up around teatime and the temperature is plummeting rapidly.

Thanks for that , it will probably wait until I've been asleep for a couple of hours and then hit.  The tree o  v ver the road is really bending now and we have shut the windows and doors even thought we are hot .  We don't normally shut the windows  on the van until later but I've made sure they're  shut n ow.

Very distant (but loud enough to wake us) thunder at 1am.  Heavy rain but at the moment dry but dull.  Wind has dropped.

It's starting to break here. More cloud, cool breeze and merely 15ºC currently. Yesterday I had to take a cat to the vet late afternoon and it was 32ºC according to the car.

Big thunderstorm woke me up at 6ish and rumbled on for an hour or so, I expected everything to be drenched this morning. It did rain, but there wasn't much in the buckets I put along the path to collect it
It's 17C, the sky is still grey, so we may get some more, fingers crossed.

Much cooler than the last week but no sign of the rain we were promised.

No sign of rain and they keep moving it on the forecast which is now Tuesday. It's gone back to being grey, overcast and humid  Slight breeze from the east but not enough to make things feel fresher.

Another day filled with sunshine but they're promising it will be a lot cooler.. we'll see.

A couple of drops of rain yesterday but not enough to wet a stamp! But enough on the forecast to cancel our trip on our friends new canal boat for the day so that’s now on Monday,fingers crossed.
Today- cloudy but still warm, no rain forecast,we will see!

Actually, the sky does look stormy right now, it is 18C &very humid - so it's a case of wait and see
