You can plant them as long as the soil isn't waterlogged or frozen.

Yes get them in to the ground preferably for you in against a south facing wall or fence. Grape vines are surprisingly hardy but require good warmth and sun to make them sweet and edible . Even down here in SW France I have mine against the south facing barn wall which protects them from any late frosts... a hard late frost and all is lost... unless you are out with the bougie's  :lol:
