Just got in from seeing the film.
The young Freddie did look a bit strange, but better as he matured. (I think) 
The film opens with him going on stage at Live Aid, Wembley.  I must say I did get excited tingles.
I enjoyed it - read the critics reviews and made my own mind up.
No spare seats in our large cinema, and it was nice to see everybody coming out 'strutting their stuff'.
If you plan to go it is on for 2 and half hours.    Regards  Mrs Bouquet

My sis watched this but the local Kinema has an interval, so reels can be changed.
