Why is the council protecting Useless?  They are making themselves look worse for having sat on the correspondence for a week when they have someone else to whom they can slippery-shoulder the blame for the delay ...  Not the usual reaction .. 

Other things I dont believe - cold called investment opportunities with great returns, the pictures on seed packets ...

If it was just a week I'd have let it go but ...

...the initial response that was first received by the Local Authority at  09.17am on the 27th December 2018.

If they are to be believed the council have been working with [Useless Company] on the report since December on a complaint raised in November.  I suppose it's a question of which they consider to be the lesser evil, being unable to get [useless company] to do a report for 3 months or claiming they have been helping [useless company] to produce an acceptable report for 3 months.

Some days I feel sorry the complaints department but they're getting fewer.

For me it's goods that have supposed lifetime guarantees (yeah, right), packets of ready-prepared food that's labelled "newly-improved" because it usually tastes worse, that animals don't go to heaven, and that I could ever grow swedes without them getting slugged and are also lacking in taste. One of the things I do believe in is the never-ending tenacity of a certain Lardman who richly deserves a gold medal.
