having spoke to the builders at work today
i was after a bit of polythene to line some baskets .
just  a meter will do i say
whole roll 2.5 meters long x25 meters
can't wait for the work to start

Builders seem to have a genetic aversion to plants - acres of gravel, driveway, paths etc and where do they throw the washings from the cement mixer? Yes you've got it - on the plants! Similar stories about where bricks are stacked, scaffolding stood etc etc   

BUT last week builders were removing scaffolding accross the street, I went to ask if they re-used the debris netting and was given almost as much as I could carry!!

I keep looking at prices and sizes. 50m (Ebay) is way too much and cost a bomb.

I'm considering wandering around the town to find a scaffolder to see if I can beg a few metres cheaply.  Fat chance around here I think...
