I'm hating you for posting that pic of strawberry pavlova as it looks absolutely amazing and I have nothing in the house remotely like it which will stave off that craving! I had a strawberry pavlova for my wedding cake I love it that much.

On to potato salad, I grow dill, it's a very scandinavian thing (my mum is Finnish so she put it in absolutely everything!) She also added a soft boiled eggs chopped very finely, some frankfurters grilled and chopped up and a little gherkin, lovely!

 Sorry Jome - post me some cyber dill for the tater salad and I'll send a slice of pavlova back down the wires. We are munching our way through but still a bit left  ;)

I'm checking out tinternet for strawberry vodka recipies this morning. Done raspberry before but strawberry does sound tempting  ;)

Is that a challenge mum? I've got vodka in my blood, being part Finn!

My step grandmother was Estonian and she had the heavy-handed dill thing going on most foods  :tongue2: :tongue2: Took a long time for me to get used to it. Now I don't mind a bit on boiled potatoes with butter but that's it. I never did like her blackcurrant jam - not a speck of sugar or sweetener in it   :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2:

After seeing the pavlova the other day and the huge crop of strawberries hubby came home with last night we decided to have a go. By the time we (myself and two children had finished) it was daddies dream pudding. I am sure we went a bit OTT especially seen as the whole thing has been eaten in ONE day

My sone doesnt want a birthday cake next year he has asked for a 13 layer pavlova, one for each year
