Something cheerful, like 'what are you looking forward to'.  I'm personally fed up with this horrible weather, the flu bug etc.   I'm personallly looking forward for the first time in about four years  to being able to go away for a whole two weeks on holiday without having to think about anyone else and have they had theirs.

Could make an interesting photo!

But... would there be scope for our poultry people?

but there are many more chicken keepers who don't have allotments - and through having chickens dont have gardens for growing either  :(

Another idea perhaps:

How about a competition entitled "Recycle It"? or "Want it - Don't Waste It"

It could be any idea that makes use of something in a novel / different / useful way.

You never know there may be tips to be had for making use of otherwise waste materials - things that could be used on the plot, in the garden, around the chicken pens or generally.

Photos, descriptions / instructions to present the idea/s.

Just a thought..

A new book title for John?

The winning idea / entry could receive the materials to make his / her own invention / idea..... or a copy of Johns newest book "Waste not Want Not - 101 ideas to recycle"  ;)

I'm not sure how I'd use a lead balloon on the plot ... perhaps an anti-pigeon device?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
