Money well spent though Muls!  How much would you pay a fitness centre every month?  And they don't give you all those lovely onions and strawberries etc etc etc!    

Look on the bright side.  Once you get into this more, you will be able to save more of your own seeds, so it won't cost you as much.

For instance.  I put my little alpine strawberries in a huge pot 3 years ago.  Last year I wanted the pot for a couple of bush tomatoes, so I transplanted the 12 little remaining strawberry plants to other planters.  Late last year, underneath the bush tomatoes, I could see lots of tiny strawberry plants growing.  Some of the uneaten strawbs must have dropped and self seeded, so now I need some more pots, then I will make another strawberry tower to house my alpine strawberries!
