Peter was a reject show cat because his ears were wrong.

...........and he was stripey, cos his mum was a tabby

"Tabby"? Now you're talking "decent" cats..... we had two and they were gorgeous!

no offense to anyone but i've always thought Siamese cats look a bit snobby, they always seem to have a distainful look on their faces, as if it's your duty to cater for their every whim, and you should jolly well be thankful that they let you :D

I see what you're saying, and I don't think I'd want a pedigree mog 'cos of tummy problems etc, but Peter doesn't look snobby - he's just cute :D

I think Siamese are a bit more snobby than Burmese, but I have never owned a siamese.
I had never had a pedigree cat before i got Peter, and he came into the house entirely by accident (as they do).
The lady I had him from was lovely, but I did find it a bit odd that she measured all her kittens ears, tails, noses etc before deciding which ones to keep for showing.
I had to sign a form to say I would never breed from him as he was such a bad example of the breed!
Poor Peter. We love him.  :)
