Squash/pumpkin

Hello, been reading for ages so thought it was time to join!

After planning the allotment for the year, i am left with a small amount of space for experimenting!

I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for any squash or pumpkin varieties which take up a small amount of space? Are there any climbing ones rather than ones which sprawl maybe?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

helo and welcom
by yourself a cheep rose arch from wilkos [only a cuple of quid ]and grow one butternut each side you will end up with loads of them

Oo good idea. I've one of them in the shed. Never thought to grow the butternuts over one Will give it a go

I grew Festival squash last year produced 6 good sized squash up rose arch
