I noticed our flowering quince started blossoming during December and now my Hellebores are flowering before the snowdrops and my Rosemary has blue buds! When the damp and chilly weather changes I have a look round the estate and see what else there is.

We still have calendula in flower and snow drops out. We noticed birdsong this morning from robins blackbirds, long tailed Titus and great Titus. Obviously on the look out for nesting sites now for later and partnering up. They will be putting the towels over the best nest sites. Damon predictive txt lol

Snapdragons, cerinthe purpurascens, sweet violets, primroses, kaffir lilies, and chaenomeles all in flower and rosemary coming into bud. Snowdrops are showing, but not in flower yet. The winter honeysuckle is full of flower as is the winter jasmine. I was on the allotment a couple of days ago, and found four flowers on one of my blue scabious plants, with quite a lot of buds on some of the others.

I was surprised that my schizostylis whose roots have 'run' into the greenhouse is still flowering, in there :)
I was going to dig it out, but I think I'll leave it to do it's own thing. The red flowers are so cheerful at this time of year.
