Iron-on hem tape

I have one trouser leg which has come unstitched. Somebody mentioned using hemming tape.
Have you tried this and is it easy and does it work. Does it make the bottom of the trouser stiff. ? Thanks Mrs Bouquet

Good afternoon Mrs bouquet,
easy peasy, I presume it's the turn up that has come adrift? Place the hemming tape between the pices of material and iron away.
Cheers, Tony.

It is easy, but the old stuff did used to make the trouser turnup a little stiff. It's years since I used it so don't know if the stuff on sale these days is any better, sorry.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
